Do you photograph proposals?
Yes! I’m happy to help coordinate a plan for your proposal. We can keep it simple or assist in planning a more elaborate moment to celebrate your love. Pricing depends on a variety of factors, including location and the level of planning. Reach out so we can discuss what works best for you!
How much time do we need for photos on our wedding day?
8 hours is a good starting point. For traditional wedding timelines, most couples choose 8 hours. If you have a lot of photos you’d like to take, a large family, multiple locations, or any special events that may be nontraditional, you might need more time. We’ll go over all of the details for your wedding day and I can help you formulate a timeline to make sure you have adequate time.
Do we need to do a first look?
Nope - not unless you want to! We will discuss time needed for one if you’d like, but it’s definitely not a requirement. If you still want to connect with your partner before the ceremony, without breaking tradition, we highly recommend incorporating a letter reading or first touch. With a first look, we’ll have even more time for portraits, and you can join in on the festivities at your cocktail hour!
Do you have a second photographer for weddings?
I have a circle of photographers I’ve worked with the last few years who assist me on wedding days. These are my people and I trust them wholeheartedly! I’m constantly expanding my network, so you may see a new face tagging along with me from time to time!
