From the moment we met her through our engagement picture session through the wedding she was accommodating, kind, communicative, professional, creative.. I could go on and on. She made the planning process a breeze and gave us great tips and tricks for our pictures. On the day of the wedding Heather and her team were absolutely incredible - they arrived early, their energy was infectious and contagious, they were fun, great at staging us and our wedding parties and families, and took some incredible pictures from getting ready through portraits to the ceremony and the reception. They made the whole experience so much fun and I'm so glad we found them. We also opted in for the wedding videography service and are eagerly awaiting that video - but we've received the gallery and the pictures are absolutely stunning. Heather is amazing and prioritizes the unique needs of all her clients. I worked with Heather for 10+ months planning the perfect surprise proposal. Heather perfectly captured the moment for us, and even sprinted all the way down a steep hill to make sure she got the perfect shot. The day of the proposal ended up being 90+ degrees, but Heather didn’t think twice about adapting our contract and moving the second half of our session to another date and another location of our choosing. Even though we only met twice in person, Heather totally understood the dynamics of our relationship and how to capture it best. We are so excited about Heather and already booked her for our wedding!

My husband and I hired Heather for an engagement session while we were living in Richmond. During that session, she made two people who are never in front of a camera feel so comfortable and at ease. Everything about the experience was nothing short of perfect. A couple months later, we moved to Cleveland, and when it came time to book a wedding photographer, we were having a hard time finding someone in the area who met the standard Heather set for us. So we contacted her for a quote and the rest is history. Nearly two months after the wedding, we have not stopped receiving compliments for how gorgeous our photos are and how much our guests enjoyed her presence. My wife and I have been together for many many years but something called us to make it "legal" this year. My (now) husband and I decided to move abroad & we rushed to plan our wedding/elopement in about 3 weeks...needless to say, we were overwhelmed and stressed. We found Heather through her partnership with ElopeRVA, and are SO incredibly lucky and grateful that she was our wedding photographer. We can't imagine working with anyone else! Heather made the process so easy and seamless from the moment we reached out to her. She was incredibly responsive to any questions we had prior to the wedding and was overall very flexible and accommodating. I was having a wedding during COVID with a very high-risk family member and was worried about the group being too close together for group photos. Heather was so understanding and helpful when I told her this and helped us to work around it- all while making sure that everyone felt comfortable! On the day of the wedding, I was a mess...but Heather showed up early and made the process of posing for photos feel natural and fun! I had NO idea what type of photos I wanted, but Heather used her talent and creativity to come up with shots that were more beautiful than we could have ever imagined! We are BEYOND in love with our photos. Heather was highly professional, but so much fun to work with at the same time, and it felt like we were hanging out with a friend...and we still continue to stay in touch! :) Afterwards, Heather got our pictures to us in ONE DAY! My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Heather for our elopement in Feb. We had no clue that less than 30 days later the world would shut down due to a pandemic. My wife and I have been together for many many years but something called us to make it "legal" this year. We knew that photography would be a very important piece of our union and we knew we had to pick the right person. Michelle ( My wife) knew Heather from a previous job and called her up.
